New president of Tanzania ends with parliamentary allowances and does not celebrate Independence Day to save money.

The new president of the Republic of Tanzania is a short time in power but has won the people, thanks to its governance methodology. John Magufuli has 56 years and took over the leadership of the country on November 5, 2015.

Check below some cuts made by the new head of state of Tanzania:

• For the first time in 54 years, Tanzania will not officially celebrate Independence Day, December 9, because Magufuli defends be "shameful" spend lots of money in the celebrations when "our people are dying of cholera" - the last three months killed at least 60 people cholera victims

• No more trips out, the embassies should deal with matters abroad. If you need to travel, special permission must be given by the President or by his Chief of Staff

• No more travel in 1st class and executive- with the exception of the President, the Vice-President and Prime Minister
• No more the workshops and seminars in expensive hotels when there are so many empty ministries rooms

• President Magufuli asked why the engineers are V8s (car top model) if the vans are more practical for their work

• All individuals or companies that have purchased state-owned enterprises that have been privatized, but did nothing with them (past 20 years) or do recover immediately or must return to government
