The Minister of Education has
provoked a wave of indignation right by announcing earlier learning of modern
foreign languages, including Arabic, a language seen as "community",
including Bruno Le Maire.
The announcement of the
introduction of Arabic in primary school by Najat Vallaud Belkacem fueling
controversy over the reforms carried out by the Ministry of Education.
Based on the poor performance of young French in the OECD in terms of mastery of foreign languages, the minister has decided to integrate different languages within the Elco (Language Teaching and cultures of origin) to the program CP next September. This program, created from a European directive of 1977, concerns the language of eight countries: Algeria, Croatia, Spain, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Serbia, Tunisia and Turkey.

Initially, the aim was to
facilitate the integration of children who moved with their parents in the
context of a labor migration within the EU. Community excesses of this program,
denounced in 2012 by the High Council for Integration, is the main argument of
the Minister to justify that reclassification - in addition to a best foreign
language learning.
See what the Muslims think!
