The British newspaper, The
Independent, published a report hair-raising. In that report, the newspaper
accused China of sending human flesh with canned product to African countries.
According to the matter of The Independent, the alleged use of human flesh as a
product would be because of overcrowding in the country and his
"inability" of that Asian country to find a place to bury the dead.
How could it be, the news
that Zambia's population would be practicing cannibalism without knowing shook
the international community, especially the authorities.
The Chinese ambassador to Zambia, Yang Youming, hastened to disqualify the information, describing as "a malicious and defamatory libel. It is unacceptable for us. We express our anger and strong condemnation of such an act, "he said.
But the Zambia Defence deputy minister, Christopher Mulenga wants to investigate the source of the rumors. In turn, the Chinese government issued a statement strongly denying the export of human flesh.
