Some aspects of the life of
Isabel dos Santos, which the businesswoman shares in social networks as
"simple things", is the subject of a report in the German daily
Süddeutsche Zeitung, one of the greatest references of journalism in that country,
according to Deutsche Welle.
The article points out that "more than a third of Angolans live below the
poverty line. They live in the same country as the president's daughter (José
Eduardo dos Santos), but in another world, "reads the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
One of the stories mentioned
in the text is the supposed beginning of Isabel dos Santos' career as a
six-year-old egg seller, which the president's daughter revealed in an
interview with the Financial Times. Declaration that the Süddeutsche Zeitung
considers to be "a shame".
"In fact, the history of eggs is a shame. But Angolans love it. When they are sure that no one in the intelligence service is around, they are joking about the story, "the paper said.
The text refers to rapper MCK, the economist and director of Expansão, Carlos Rosado de Carvalho, and human rights activist Rafael Marques.

"MCK describes Angola in
his texts as a family-based kleptocracy - with Isabel dos Santos as a
figurehead.' She was not rich because she's a very smart business woman, but
because her father wanted it to be that way.' "
Cita Carlos Rosado de Carvalho referring that "it is difficult to believe that all the wealth of Isabel dos Santos is due to his entrepreneurial talent. None of the companies that Isabel dos Santos manages presents its accounts transparently. "
Even the businesswoman's Instagram account was mentioned in the report. Rather discreet, little given to interviews and photographs, Isabel dos Santos showed a more private side of her life by starting to make personal publications on social networks. The text says that self-sharing on yachts and luxury travel leave activists like Rafael Marques "on the verge of a fit of nerves."

"Marques wants to sue
the Angolan state for the appointment of the president's daughter to Sonangol,
as a matter of principle ... If the investigating authority does not do it, I
have to do it myself," Marques said, quoted by the newspaper.
The newspaper concludes the report with the phrase: "A photograph that the head of Sonangol published on the Instagram in August shows her on a yacht, with her hair loose, sunglasses and the sea in the background. The photo has the hashtag #simplethings. "
