According to information,
there has already been a fatality in this ritual that is believed to work
miracles.
In another case, the self-proclaimed prophet Lethebo Rabalago claims that a
Doom-brand insecticide can heal people. The company that produces Doom warned about the risks of spraying the substance, while a government commission urged any affected person to file complaints.
In the photos circulating on Facebook and Twitter, Rabalago, who heads the Zion Mount General Assembly in the Limpopo province, is seen spraying the insecticide directly into the eyes and various parts of the body of its congregants.
He told BBC Nomsa Maseko in Johannesburg that he had sprayed a woman's face because she had an eye infection and claimed that the woman was "well because she believed in the power of God."
I find this very disturbing.
A pastor from the MZGA congregation is spraying people with insect repellant to
heal them.
