Malgouyres case: the trial could take place at the end of November in Montpellier

The bloody and mysterious burglary that occurred on October 5, 2017 at the Jardin Saint-Adrien in Servian could be tried for three weeks, from November 29 to December 17, before the Assize Court of Hérault. Daniel Malgouyres will appear for murder, attempted murder and aiding and abetting attempted aggravated extortion, along with three other defendants.

The highly anticipated trial of the Malgouyres case could be held for three weeks from November 29 to December 17, 2021 in Montpellier, before the Hérault Assize Court, we learned from concordant sources.

This is indeed the date that is proposed by the court to the various lawyers concerned, who must quickly give their agreement according to their availability, before a definitive fixing.

Four defendants are sent back to the Assize Court for the bloody burglary that occurred at the Jardin Saint-Adrien in Servian, on October 5, 2017.

That day, a burglar, David Viers, had been shot by Daniel Malgouyes, the owner of the premises, and another thief had managed to escape.

The investigation has since cast suspicion of the organization of this violent abortive home-jacking on Daniel Malgouyres himself, the wealthy owner of the premises, in the context of an acute marital conflict with his wife Françoise.

Released twice, Daniel Malgouyres remains the only detainee in this case, for not having respected the provisions of his judicial control.

Three other men are also accused of attempted extortion in an organized gang with weapons and complicity: Richard Bruno, the surviving burglar, Jean-Pierre Bruno, his father, and Richard Llop, the former equestrian instructor of Françoise Malgouyres.

Seven people also brought civil proceedings, including Françoise Malgouyres, but also the widow of the deceased burglar and Richard Bruno himself, the surviving burglar, on whom Daniel Malgouyres had shot the evening of the facts.
