The father of the girl was taken into police custody Monday for manslaughter but the prosecution lifted his custody on Tuesday, said the public prosecutor, Nicolas Heitz. “The investigators were able to overhear him in an extremely detailed way and there was no longer any need for him to be kept in police custody. We are especially awaiting the results of the expertise and the autopsy "scheduled for Friday morning, added the magistrate.”
