If a trial in India finds WHO chief scientist Dr Soumya Swaminathan guilty, then she could either be sentenced to death or to life in prison.
The government of Tamil Nadu has released new treatment protocols for patients with Covid-19 that exclude the use of ivermectin, which was included in a previous version.
The new protocols describe three categories of patients with Covid-19 according to the level of care they need: home care, primary care and pre-hospital care. The tests to determine the category to which a patient belongs are oxygen saturation (SpO2) and respiratory rate.

Ivermectin is an inexpensive drug that is prescribed as an antiparasitic and is gaining popularity for preventing Covid-19. The WHO and the FDA do not approve of ivermectin, but many doctors and scientists believe that ivermectin is effective. Indian states that used ivermectin had much better results and significantly fewer Covid-related deaths than Indian states that did not.
Among the most prominent examples are the regions of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Goa where cases have fallen by 98%, 97%, 94%, and 86%, respectively.
In contrast, Tamil Nadu has not opted for ivermectin. As a result, cases have skyrocketed and reached the highest level in India. Deaths in Tamil Nadu have increased tenfold.
In a test of over 4000 people in India (over 3000 with Ivermectin and over 1000 without Ivermectin). Results: 2% of people who took ivermectin had a positive PCR test for Covid-19 and 11.7% of people who did not take a positive PCR test. People received two doses of 21 mg of ivermectin for less than a penny per person.
Specific charges have been brought against ivermectin in particular as part of a campaign of disinformation and social media statements aimed at falsely influencing the public against the use of ivermectin, despite the existence large amounts of clinical data demonstrating its effectiveness in the prevention and treatment of Covid-19.
The Indian Bar Submission makes particular reference to peer-reviewed publications and evidence compiled by the ten-member Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) group and the 65-member British Ivermectin Recommendation Development (BIRD) group.
This panel is chaired by Dr Tess Lawrie, WHO consultant and expert in meta-analysis.
In his brief, United States Attorney Ralph C. Lorigo cited cases at New York Hospital where court orders were needed for dying Covid-19 patients to receive ivermectin. In many cases, after receiving court-ordered ivermectin, comatose patients have recovered.
Lawyer Ojha accused the WHO and Dr Swaminathan - in points 60 and 61 - of misleading the Indian people throughout the pandemic, from wearing masks to clearing China of the origins virus.
“The Indian Bar Association has warned of an action brought under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code against Dr Soumya Swaminathan and others, for the murder of every deceased person due to obstruction in treatment of Covid-19 with Ivermectin. The penalty provided for in section 302 of the Indian Penal Code is the death penalty or life imprisonment. "
Ivermectin, used in Delhi from April 20, wiped out the Covid-19 crisis. Cases fell 97% in six weeks. The fatal mistake would have been not to use ivermectin. They used it and it saved Delhi. Unfortunately, Tamil Nadu did not and the state was devastated. New cases rose from 10,986 to 36,184, or three times more. Tamil Nadu's refusal to use ivermectin hurt him. Not only have cases peaked in India, but deaths have skyrocketed from 48 on April 20 to 474 on May 27, a tenfold increase.
