Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has endangered the lives of millions of Ukrainians as well as those of his own compatriots, is said to have hidden his lover Alina Kabaeva and their four children in a luxurious private chalet in Switzerland.
Although Putin has never confirmed anything from his personal life, he is said to have kept his four children, two sons and twin seven-year-old daughters, secret from his supposed relationship with gymnast Alina Kabaeva.
“While Putin leads his assault on Ukraine, attacking innocent citizens and causing a refugee crisis, his family is locked up in a very private and very secure chalet somewhere in Switzerland,” Page 6 wrote, citing a source. The children would have Swiss passports.
While Putin hid his alleged family in Switzerland thinking it would be safe for them, the country turned against Russia and froze the assets of a list of Russian individuals and companies.
Financial sanctions against Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov must also be implemented with immediate effect,” the Swiss Federal Council added in a statement. However, it is not clear whether these sanctions can affect the current situation invasion.
