Montpellier: 10 million euros for thirty ghost employees

Thirty "ghost jobs" were denounced in early January by the new majority to damage estimated at ten million euros. If no decision is taken on the follow-up to this case, unions are surprised and regret not having been informed.

The information is disseminated during a press conference of  Philippe Saurel this Wednesday, January 13 in the morning to the city of Montpellier Hall, whose subject was the redesign of the city's service and Montpellier Mediterranean metropolis. Une phrase a fait mouche dans le discours de l'édile : "Quand je découvre que des employés perçoivent un salaire et que personne ne les a jamais vus ni entendus et qu'ils n'ont jamais pointé, je m'interroge".

How many people would be affected? According to Christian Fina the Director General of Services of the city and the metropolis, 30 ghosts found jobs for about ten years. A well-oiled system of an employee who badge it for 2 or 3 people. Christian Fina emphasized "the legacy of the previous mandate" (Hélène Mandroux understand and Georges Freche, Ed). He wants to clear up this matter as quickly by agreeing two options, these people return to real tasks or start administrative proceedings against them.

Recall that a dismissal procedure aimed territorial agents is often very heavy. The Director of the Services finally reminds that those involved "are not at all representative of most of the 4300 workers of the Town Hall, which the utility pegged to the body."

Saisi?
