GOOD NEWS FOR PARIS

One of the most beautiful avenue in the world The Champs-Élysées will be "rendered" to pedestrians from the month of May, a desire of the mayor Anne Hidalgo had issued earlier this year.

Previously, the Avenue was fully pedestrianized for one day only on rare occasions such as Car Free Day, whose first edition took place on 27th of September, or the large vegetable installed in June the 5th, 2015.

This opening for pedestrians every first Sunday coincides with the free museums for over 16 years now.

The City Council of Paris also voted enlargement to all the capital in the scope of this "Car Free Day".

Furthermore, the City is now planning for the summer, nine new areas of "Paris breathes", streets made pedestrian on Sundays and public holidays in addition to the 13 existing ones.
