LEECHES RETIREMENTS FOR A MINIMUM OF 1.5 MILLION EUROS

Since 1981 Valéry Giscard D’Estaing is no longer President of the Republic. And yet it continues to cost 2.5 million euros per year to taxpayers, significantly higher than its successors still alive, Jacques Chirac 1, 5 million euros and Nicolas Sarkozy 2.2 million euros, yet he only governed between 2007 and 2012 included.

Article 19 of the Law of 3 April 1955 which sets the
amount of depreciation former Presidents.

According to this text, retirees from Elysee receive equal treatment that of a State Councilor. As emphasizes MP René Dosière, this is not a pension plan Strictly speaking, since staffing is the same" regardless of the length of stay at the Elysee and the beneficiary's age". Any former President benefits From 60 years like Nicolas Sarkozy that touches from 2015 a Compensation is Fixed at 5,250 € gross per month, no matter the length of stay at the Elysee, and does not match, as for the majority of retirees, a contribution  amount.
To secure material benefits former Presidents, it was worth waiting a letter decision despite that it was not published in the Official Journal of 8th of January, 1985.

(To see this letter go to “RUBRIQUES” COPIES)

This document requested by François Mitterrand, written by and signed by Michel Charasse Prime Minister Laurent Fabius. He lists the favors granted to former Presidents.

Either a corporate apartment, furnished and equipped, with two personal service, two ensuring police for personal protection, a particular security for the private home, a company car permanent with two drivers, seven permanent employees for
the secretariat a chief of staff, two assistants, an official of the national archives, secretary-three typists. Staff costs are supported by the departments where these employees come from and chosen freely by former President.

These senior political figures they need to be well maintained, moreover considering that their relationships already support themselves needs as is the case of the torque
Chirac, who lives in a Parisian apartment of 396 m2 Loan from family Lebanese Hariri.

The treatment of the secondary residence is not mentioned anywhere. Yet the castle Bity (Corrèze) Chirac property, is under the protection of six mobile police (during twelve years of presence of Chirac at the Elysee Palace, they were 31 before), and they are fifteen to keep the castle Giscard, Authon (Loir-et-Cher), according to a 2009 report by the Defense committee of
the National Assembly.

The big snag on retirement of former Presidents is that they can combine their different diets special elected ... As Precis the Backup Association pensions," not only these plans are not reformed but they are stacked". And the total sum of pensions is
no ceiling ... Also according to the association, Jacques Chirac receives approximately 31, 000€ Gross per month. Indeed, in addition to his former President pension (5,250€), it affects every months a Member of retirement of (5,031€) Mayor of Paris and General Counsel (5,000€) and the Magistrate Court of Auditors (3,500€). At this stage, one arrives at a retirement of 18,800€.

And as former presidents they are still full members of the Constitutional Council, Jacques Chirac receives 12,000€ more. Attendance of former Presidents are not regular," they receive less in case of absence" says René Dosière. To all this
complemented by a premium "subjection special" Paid for
"offset stresses in the exercise of its functions".

The amount of this bonus is not known. A pension reversion is also scheduled for death of the former President. The surviving spouse is entitled to half the amount of the presidential retirement, as per site Retraite.net. Rein Dosière made his
calculations and for each year a former President costs us a whopping amount of 1.5 million euros per year.
