COMMUNICATE OF ERIC CANTONA

Eric Cantona was born May 24, 1966 in Marseilles, of parents with Spanish origins (Catalan) and Italian. He is the youngest son of the family. The eldest, Jean-Marie, is four years older than Eric, while Joel, the youngest, is a year younger than him.

They grow up in the neighborhood Les Caillols in the 12th arrondissement of Marseille. At the age of six years, Eric began football in the Olympic Sports Caillollais as goalkeeper.
