DRAFT 2017 BUDGET LAW-MORE DEMAGOGUERY

The Finance Act for 2017 came under discussion in the National Assembly. The opportunity to see once again that the tax debate still ranges between inaction and demagogy
Aside from withholding whose absurdity is further proof of the Finance Bill proposed to French shows a poverty of imagination and distressing action?

Certainly the pre-election years are not conducive to fiscal shine shots but the energy expended to desperately convince the validity of the withholding tax would be better used to invent new tax-quality devices.

Rather, the government wanted to feel again demagogy, establishing for 2017 a mere 20% reduction of income tax for average earners.

However, if this tax is so high, why not simply review the scale rather than say, "is calculated, you realize it is too high for the middle class, it is therefore only down for them ... "?

And the target device returns to unbalance increasing the distribution of the tax burden by maintaining intact escalation to the highest incomes.

Yet these are precisely the ones who suffer the most with rates to 41 or 45% with particularly fast and therefore demotivating for those who want to work or take financial risks (not to mention the social charges and other exceptional contributions ...

All the better for the taxpayers who will benefit but one wonders if the Minister explained that it concerns 7 million homes and cost $ 1 billion, it is not simply there, a clientelist measure 1 billion in an attempt to rally the votes of 14 million potential voters.

Which estimates the value of the elector to 70 euros on average. Everyone will enjoy...

Saisi not MAN!
