MADONNA SAID

On the 9th of October Madonna said: "I cannot find a house in Lisbon, but I certainly find a horse," she wrote in the video caption where she sees her eldest son riding on the beach.

It will certainly not be the exorbitant prices that are currently practiced in housing in Lisbon, nor the lack of luxury homes that are on sale. But for whatever reason, Madonna still could not find the villa of her dreams to stay permanently and reside in the Portuguese capital with her five year old Esther and Stella and 12 year old David Banda. She said it in one of the last publication in the social network Instagram.

For some time now it has been known that the future of the singer's family will pass through Portugal. David Banda attends the training center of Sport Lisboa e Benfica in Seixal and Stella and Esther will be enrolled in the French high school in  Amoreiras in Lisbon. Therefore, the demand for the perfect house has no end. Madonna is also the mother of Lourdes, whom she had with dancer Carlos Leon, who, at the age of 21, should not follow the tribe, just like her brother Rocco, whom the Madonna had with Guy Ritchie, and who lives in England with his father.

Madonna has been living in the city since the beginning of September and this is already the second release that the 59-year-old singer makes regarding the difficulty of finding an address of choice. Searching for the home of your dreams can be a difficult task, but it certainly is a pleasure.
Before buying the villa of her dreams and according to the information of a Portuguese newspaper, Madonna wanted to stay in the villa but not even rented. She proposed to the owner to make the repairs and live a year in the villa ...

The details of the villa that Madonna bought in Portugal:

The chosen address was Quinta do Relógio, built in the 19th century by a slave trader, Manuel Pinto da Fonseca, also known as 'Monte Cristo'. The place has a romantic garden and has several plants of exotic species.

Located in Sintra, the building was designed by the architect António Tomás Fonseca and is classified as a place of public interest: it has five portals, domes inspired by Islamic architecture and a tower with many bells that in the past informed the hours - hence the origin of the name. According to historians, it was at this address that D. Carlos de Bragança and D. Maria Amélia de Orléans, the future kings of Portugal, spent their honeymoon in 1886.
